We provide theoretical knowledge tuition (“ground school”) for fixed-wing and helicopter Private Pilots:

• Students training for a CAA Private Pilots Licence (PPL) or converting a National Private Pilots Licence (NPPL)
• R/T coaching and exams for the Flight Radiotelephony Operators Licence (FRTOL)
• PPL holders training for an Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC) Rating
• Mental Maths for qualified pilots, typically when commencing CPL/ATPL training
• experienced pilots who need informal ‘refresher’ training on specific topics

We also administer ICAO / EASA English Language Proficiency Testing for students and other aviation personnel.

Our classroom-based tuition is either one-to-one or in very small groups. Although passing exams is important, our ethos is to help all students to become safe and competent pilots.

For this reason, we extend training beyond the basic syllabus into other areas of essential knowledge, and our instructors seek to add breadth and depth to many of the standard topics using their personal experiences.
